Meet Dr Janice Quinn, MChiro (MU) Chiropractor
Growing up on the Northern Beaches, Dr Janice felt very lucky to have an active childhood and household. She was involved in various sports, including Nippers, soccer, touch football, water polo and netball.
As I started to become more competitive in sports, we had information nights that educated us on how to be the best versions of ourselves and reach optimal fitness. I was introduced to chiropractic throughout these sessions and have seen one ever since. As a patient, I saw the benefits of the profession, and that developed my passion for wanting to become a chiropractor.
Education and Professional Development
After earning a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science from Macquarie University in 2019, Dr Janice continued her education by completing a Master of Chiropractic in 2021 – also from Macquarie.
To stay breast of the latest in the field, Dr Janice regularly takes continuing education courses. She’s taken the following thus far:
- Upper Limb Sports Symposium
- TMJ Craniofacial Pain and Dysfunction, March 2023
- Paediatric Inspiral Course – Kids’ Dynamic Development
- Running Rehab Course
- Dry Needling
Passionate about giving back to the underserved, Dr Janice, along with Dr Michael Bird (Chiropractor) and Stacey, provided chiropractic care during a two-week volunteer trip to rural India in early 2024.
Helping to Create Healthy Changes
Outside the Practice
In her spare time, Dr Janice loves to travel, and when she gets time off work, she tries to do as much of it as she can. She also enjoys both skiing and surfing, so she chooses between the two depending on the time of year. Besides travel, Dr Janice likes to exercise, which can vary depending on the day. She also enjoys strength training, running, surfing and bushwalking.
