Meet Dr Stacey Saunders MChiro (MU), Chiropractor

Dr Saunders photoStacey’s path to chiropractic began after a concussion injury as a teenager. She experienced firsthand the benefits of chiropractic care and soon developed a keen interest in how biomechanics and the nervous system impact overall health.

“Learning how biomechanical integrity impacts the function of the nervous system and overall health set me on the chiropractic career path.” Stacey went on to graduate from Macquarie University in 2000 with both a Master of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology.

While at university, Stacey received the coveted Australian Chiropractors Association Award for outstanding clinical and diagnostic skills.

Commitment to Continuing Education

Stacey is dedicated to advancing her skills through ongoing education. She has completed extensive post-graduate training in specialised areas, including the following:

  • Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
  • Paediatric Care (including Retained Primitive Reflexes)
  • Functional Neurology
  • Craniosacral Techniques
  • Webster Technique
  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS)
  • Dry Needling
  • Activator Method
“I am passionate about continuing education and recognise how important it is to stay up to date with the latest research on chiropractic and healthcare.”

Stacey provides outstanding care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors, helping them improve their biomechanical movement and optimise neurological function. This holistic approach benefits her patients by enhancing overall health and quality of life.

She has also presented seminars, including a session on “Chiropractic Care for the Pregnant Patient,” to her colleagues and students at Macquarie University.

EXPLORE OUR SERVICES

Outside the practice, Stacey has enjoyed volunteering with the Australian charity Hands on India (HOI), an organisation founded by Australian chiropractors. In 2017, she volunteered with the HOI chiropractic team to provide two weeks of chiropractic care for the tea plantation workers, rock breakers and marginalised groups in Siliguri, India.

Then, in 2024, Stacey enjoyed leading the HOI team of volunteer chiropractors and working with the HOI board to deliver a successful two-week mission trip that provided chiropractic and healthcare for some of the most disadvantaged people.

When she’s not at the practice, Stacey likes to keep fit by swimming in the ocean. She also enjoys an active lifestyle on the beautiful Northern Beaches with her husband and three children.
